• Universidad del Medio Ambiente, Valle de Bravo (2025): Guest speaker at the Alternative Economies Seminar for the Bachelor’s programme in Social and Environmental Entrepreneurship. Shared experiences on territorial regeneration and eco-social leadership in an online session.

• Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana Azcapotzalco (2023): Participated in the international online event Women & Bamboo, with the talk: “Bamboo for Happiness: A Tool for a Sustainable Future.” - 🔗 Get inspired

• Uruguay – México Binational Talk (2021): Co-led the online session “Turn Bamboo into Beverages” with specialist Mauricio Mora Tello, as part of a collaborative workshop between both countries.

🇦🇷 Argentina

• Sustentarte Foundation (2021): Invited speaker on regenerative development and bamboo in a Latin American context, as part of an open online training and awareness-raising event.

• INBAR – International Bamboo Meeting (2015):
Participated in person at this regional gathering hosted by the International Network for Bamboo and Rattan (INBAR)in Buenos Aires, alongside experts from across Latin America.

🇨🇴 Colombia

• Guadua Sector Roundtable – SENA (2024): Online guest speaker at the panel “Bamboo and Ecosocial Regeneration: Experiences and Opportunities for the Value Chain”, hosted by the National Training Service (SENA).

• Guadua and Bamboo Week (2023): Virtual talk titled “Honouring the Legacy of the Tacuara” — guest speaker from Uruguay. Organised by Tierra Magia Territorio Escuela, with participation from both public and private stakeholders in Colombia’s bamboo sector.

• International Event “Bambú Cultura” (2022): Invited speaker for the online talk “Bamboo as a Tool for Ecosocial Regeneration”, as part of a virtual event series hosted by key leaders in the Colombian bamboo movement.

🇨🇷 Costa Rica

• “El bambú transforma” Workshop (2022): Invited speaker at an online international talk on bamboo and the circular economy, organised by Bambutico and Disartebambú.

• On-site workshops and talk (2015): Invited to co-organise and facilitate two two-day workshops in Costa Rica, in collaboration with Bambutico and Bambucoop. Activities included local species identification, creative bamboo processes, hands-on learning, and collective awareness-building with international participation.

🇸🇻 El Salvador

• Diseño UNE (2014): International guest speaker at Diseño UNE, an academic event gathering design students and professionals from Central America and the Caribbean. Delivered an inspirational online talk on creativity and natural resources to an audience of over 100 participants.

🇬🇧 Reino Unido

• Disruptive Innovation Festival (2017): Online participation with a talk titled “Lessons from Bamboo.” A reflection on creativity, natural ecosystems, empowerment, and circular models — part of the global festival on regenerative economy hosted by the Ellen MacArthur Foundation.

🇵🇪 Perú

• Amazon Bamboo Workshop (March 2025): Featured online guest at this international gathering focused on bamboo use in the Peruvian Amazon. Shared an ecosocial, symbolic and regenerative perspective on the material.

• National Agrarian University La Molina (2017): In-person speaker at a regional event on bamboo and sustainable development. Invited from Uruguay to present experiences using bamboo as a tool for ecosocial regeneration in rural and territorial contexts.

🇳🇬 Nigeria

• SACOBAR Symposium (2024): International guest speaker at the Southern Africa Bamboo and Rattan Symposium, organised by INBAR and regional partners. Shared insights from Uruguay on the role of bamboo in ecosocial regeneration and territorial development.
